How to Play Acey Deucey (In-Between)

• Everyone antes into the pot each round. You are the only bettor.
• Two cards are dealt face-up — a low card and a high card.
• You bet whether the third card will fall strictly between the two cards in rank.
• Win: Third card is strictly between → you win your bet from the pot.
• Lose: Third card hits the low or high card exactly → you Post — you must pay your bet amount INTO the pot (pot grows!).
• Lose: Third card is outside the spread → you pay your bet into the pot.
• Pair dealt: A third card is immediately dealt face-up. You then bet whether the next card matches the pair's rank (three of a kind). Pays 4:1 if correct.
• Pass: If the spread is 1, you may pass without betting to avoid a very risky round.
• Bet the Pot: Go for it all — if you win you double the pot from it; if you lose you match the entire pot.
• Ace: When an Ace is one of the two door cards, you choose whether it counts as High (14, above King) or Low (1, below 2). This is decided before betting.
• The deck reshuffles when fewer than 10 cards remain.
